About Miss Melba's Story

Well, it's been 21 years. I have retired from the VA after working as a nurse for a little over 17 years! While I have to say there is no career path more rewarding, my heart is calling me back to my passion! And with my childrearing behind me and the supportive husband I married in 2018, I am ready to take on the challenge of not only baking for the fruitcake lover, but the fruitcake skeptic!

Strangely enough, my daughter in law told someone today I was a Pioneer in E-commerce! I'm deeply flattered but you can count on no changes to my original recipe that was made in the same tradition as my own grandmother born in 1898 because for me, this fruitcake represents love and love needs to be shared with everyone! So I invite you to join our family as a pioneer in the land of love and honestly delicious home-baked fruitcake!
